Good afternoon all,

As you can see, I’ve made great progress in the last month. I’ve added volcano lakes throughout the background and inserted obelisks in the center of the lakes. They are representing intelligence or alien life much like the monoliths in the movie 2001 A Space Odyssey. So, this painting is starting to become a human creationism theory piece. Please note that I have only scratched the surface on the detailing of this painting. That will be done after I get it all planned out.

NEXT MONTH:
I’ve already started painting the ‘space scene’ at the top of the painting (not pictured) and it will include nebulas, galaxies, and alien universes….

Good afternoon all,

As you can see, I’ve made quite a bit of progress since the last update. This painting is starting to feel very organic and surreal at the same time. Starting at the bottom, dandelion buds are blooming into eyeball sunflowers and metamorphosizing into eyeball butterflies. A few planetoid spheres are present as well as some sort of sand dollar/jellyfish creature. All the while, the monkeys are observing with curious interest. In the background is the beginning of volcano lakes that will probably be located throughout the entire painting. This will allow for all kinds of possibilities in THE DAWN.
What is THE DAWN?
The Dawn is a place where things are not normal and defy logic…like an alternate universe. It’s a colorful, psychedelic, organic, and surreal universe, world, or state of mind. I look forward to exploring and painting the possibilities.
