Here is a current picture of the painting. I’ve added several ancient and mysterious items in the middle, painted some planets, removed the monoliths, and now I am focusing on filling out the entire painting before I start to detail it.

The Sands of Time ‘sketch back ground’ is for the most part complete. You can see the addition of an oasis scene towards the bottom. I need to have a basic idea of what the background will look like before I started detailing anything. I can finally start painting the aliens, planets, and whatever else I want to put in there. GOOD TIMES.
